Dr. Ames grew up in Liburn, Georgia, and attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He worked as a technology consultant in Atlanta for several years prior to dental school at the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Ames made the commitment to develop his skills and knowledge further by completing two additional years of training in the endodontic residency program at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Ames is a clinical assistant professor at the Dental College of Georgia in the endodontic department. He is an active member of the Forsyth County Rotary Club, Georgia Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Hinman Dental Society.
Dr. Ames and his family cherish living in and being part of the local Cumming community. He and his wife Carmen are often seen chasing their two rascal sons, Jase and Zach.
